Strategic Offsite Facilitation

Offsites that end in decisions, not decks

For founders, CEOs and CHROs of ₹300–2,000 crore companies: a facilitated working session that turns your leadership team's ambition into one plan the whole team owns.

A Deep-run strategic offsite is a facilitated working session where a company’s leadership team leaves with one plan, clear owners for every priority, and an operating rhythm to execute it — not a binder of ideas. It is built on the Scaling Up framework, which Scaling Up reports has been used by more than 100,000 companies worldwide, and on Deep Connect, Deep’s signature facilitation method for honest, decision-forcing conversations.

The symptoms

When to bring Deep in

An offsite is not an annual ritual. It's the intervention for a specific set of problems — the ones below.

An annual plan nobody executes

The plan exists; the follow-through doesn't. By March it's a document, not a rhythm.

Leadership meetings that circle

The same issues resurface every quarter and end in discussion, not decisions.

A strategy only the founder can articulate

Ask five leaders where the company is going and you'll get five answers.

Two businesses — or two generations — pulling apart

Family and professional agendas drifting without one shared plan to hold them together.

Post-acquisition alignment

Two leadership teams, two cultures, one integration that needs a single page.

The year ahead needs one page, not forty slides

Strategy has become a deck. Nobody can execute a deck.

Fit

Who it's for — and who it isn't

These sessions work when the room is ready to decide. That makes fit worth being blunt about.

Built for

  • Founder-led and professional-CEO companies in the ₹300–2,000 crore range
  • CHRO-sponsored leadership events and annual planning offsites
  • Family businesses navigating succession — both generations in the room

Not for

  • Teams looking for a motivational speaker
  • One-way training days where the team listens, applauds and leaves

If what the team needs is inspiration rather than alignment, Deep will tell you — and point you somewhere better suited.

The method

How it runs

Three phases. The days in the room are the visible part; the preparation and the rhythm afterwards are what make them stick.

01

Diagnose before the room

A diagnostic assessment of the business plus one-to-one pre-reads with every participant. Deep walks in knowing where the real disagreements live — so day one starts at the issues, not at introductions.

02

The room

One to two facilitated days. Honest conversations surfaced with Deep Connect, Deep’s signature facilitation method — and decisions made with named owners, not action items left floating.

03

After the room

The plan is installed into a meeting rhythm — weekly, monthly, quarterly — so it survives contact with the quarter instead of dying in a drawer.

Before you ask

Questions buyers actually ask

How long is an offsite?
Most run one or two full facilitated days, with two to three weeks of preparation before — a diagnostic assessment and one-to-one pre-reads with each participant — so the room starts at the real issues, not at introductions.
Who should be in the room?
The team that will own the plan — typically the CEO and their direct leadership, six to fourteen people. The CEO must be in the room. In family businesses, that usually means both generations.
Online or in person?
In person, by default. The honest, unhurried conversations these sessions are built on work best face to face. Virtual sessions work well for follow-ups, but the offsite itself belongs in a room.
How is this different from a training?
A training transfers knowledge; an offsite produces decisions. This is a working session on your company's actual strategy — the output is one plan with named owners and dates, not notes from a lecture.
What happens after the offsite?
The plan is installed into a meeting rhythm — the cadence of weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews that keeps it alive. Many teams continue with quarterly facilitation to hold that rhythm. There is no published rate card; engagement details on enquiry.
